For all of us higher education people, it’s a time of procrastination, as well as the usual and expected work, overwork, and unnecessary extra work which is entirely your own fault. That is to say: as well as them, and because of them, in what is sometimes a vicious circle and sometimes a creative constructive critical virtuous spiral.
